Was hidden for maturity
Ever felt like just surrendering and asking God to take away the dark cloud that is wearing you down?

Ever felt like just surrendering and asking God to take away the dark cloud that is weighing you down?
Today, when I woke up, I just felt like asking God to bring new wine out of me... I was reminded of this song, New Wine - Hillsong Worship
This article today is part of my recent post on Linkedin
Enjoy!
Like Wine, You are unique because the best not only keep well for decades but become more desirable with age, and building up a cellar for the future is one of the most satisfying things you can do. Many bottles will develop complex aromas and flavors, beautiful colors, and indescribable magic that can only be got from several years of improvement in a cellar. Age can tame the astringent tannins and full-on fruit of more aggressive reds and add beautiful buttery complexity to age-worthy whites.
More importantly, during the process, the primary aromas of fresh fruit develop more complex secondary and tertiary aromas giving an aged wine layer of flavor and nuanced aromas that you just don’t get with a young wine.
Okay, I think that's way enough with wines. I am no longer a fan, me and Mrs alcohol have long been divorced.
God said, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:5)
As I promised in my previous article, This Is Your Moment dated; 25/10/2022 I've made a promise to cast another of Stephen Chow's movies... So, here it goes. The movie I want to share with you today will be CJ7... Ti, a really poor construction worker that struggles to keep his son, Dicky, in private school, mistakes an orb he finds in a junkyard for a toy which proves to be much, much more once the young boy starts to play with it.
Imagine, If all your years growing up, your parents always told you that you had a sound mind. Instead of telling you that you were a pig-headed, good-for-nothing. Imagine that whenever you did something wrong or messed up, they corrected you in love and told you not to act that way because you have a sound mind. Just imagine what that would that have done for your confidence and self-image growing up.
I received that much love from my mother; that's why I still hold myself high even today. Well, It's not too late for you either, you can start today and begin to tell yourself you're smart, enough, good-looking, and worthy to be here.
So, are you displaying the marks of maturity in your life?
Well, I'm not sure that we can be mature from every storm we face because we are always growing and learning as human beings, and I am pretty sure that all of us have felt the need to quit.
Our soul yearns to soar, to grow, to accomplish things. It's hard to say this, but I know we all know the real meaning of it: Real pleasure requires pain and effort, not running away from it. “No pain, no gain,” as the saying goes. The most meaningful moments we have come through are the crucible of struggle.
God, Who is Infinite and complete, has put us in the world to attain ultimate meaning and fulfillment, which comes through exerting our muscles, overcoming the drive for comfort, and choosing all that success had to offer.
We may doubt ourselves (I know I had on numerous occasions) and not believe that we are capable of attaining personal greatness, but God has fashioned our souls, and He knows what we are made to achieve (see again, Jeremiah 1:5.) He is intimately aware of our inner potential and He will make sure that He goes to the end of the world to see it made possible for us. He isn't prepared to throw in the towel and give up on us, even if that’s what we feel like doing.
God has invested in each and every one of us. If we’re not keeping that fire burning in us with our desire for more, He may turn up the heat and give us the circumstances and challenges we need to rise to the occasion and push ourselves further, sometimes beyond what we could ever imagine.
Every one of us here is gifted, regardless of who we are, and you gotta agree with me here because, in fact, it's true!
